Greetings. It's been awhile since I've updated with news. So on this cold, middle of October day of the 15th I give you a link to a very funny comic staring Tom and Jerry. It is an online comic called VG Cats** and the comic that features Tom and Jerry is here: "The Lost Episodes" **WARNING: There may be content on this site that may be inappropriate for children. VG Cats' audience is mainly video gamers and young adults.

Ahh...it's the end of the week...the last day of Summer. *sigh* So on this day, I found this: TOM & JERRY: "THE MOUSE GETS THE CHEESE" HANNA-BARBERA SERIES 2 Yup! There is a second series of Hanna-Barbera Toys coming this winter and sure enough Tom and Jerry are included again! In the mean time, I've found the first series on Amazon along with a Bobble Head: Shop Amazon

Ok...I did it...I've updated the gallery. Yes, 2 days after my news post I have done it!. So head over to the gallery and enjoy the nearly 200 screenshots of Title Cards and cut scenes. Thanks to whomever sent those to me...oh so long ago. In other news, I just got this email informing me about the Spotlight Collection recall:

I called the Warner Home Video a number of weeks ago about the envelope for the Tom & Jerry replacement discs and they still haven't arrived. So, I just got off the phone with them and they said they are waiting until they get a certain number of orders before they send them out. She said maybe next week. So, I just thought I would let you know so that you can remind your readers that they sooner they order their replacement discs the sooner we all will get them.

Ok folks! Today is Sunday September 17, 2006...we are 6 days away from the Premiere of Tom and Jerry Tales on the KidsWB. Yay! Aside from that I've updated the site! Yes, yes, I know...ABOUT FRICKIN' TIME YOU LAZY BUM!!! :-] anyway, I've added 2 news sounds (intro's to the 1975 and the 1980 cartoon shows) and 7 new images with more on the way...oh yes...a lot more. Someone sent me a whole bunch of screenshots that I completely forgot that I had. I stumbled upon them today :-] I should have them up sometime this week.

Today is the Anniversary of the Tom and Jerry show.

Yes, I know, it's not up to par with the original Hanna-Barbera, but nothing can. So with that I'd like to say:

Some reasonable news this week. William over at The Digital Bits sent this little bit of news to me:

Warner Home Video has announced a disc replacement program for Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection, Volume 2, due to complaints that some of the cartoons on the set were censored, when they were not supposed to be. For those who purchased Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection, Volume 2, call (toll free) 1-800-553-6937 and give them your name, address and telephone number. A self-addressed stamped envelope will be sent to you so that you can return the old discs. You'll be sent corrected replacement discs within about 4 weeks. No word yet on the replacements for Spotlight Collection 1. This offer is for U.S. residents only.

British TV Channel Snuffs Out Cartoon Smoking After Complaint Pretty soon there will be nothing left of the cartoons...just Tom sleeping on his pillow and Jerry sleeping in his bed. But someone will probably complain that it will promote over-sleeping and laziness in children. Utterly ridiculous! I think William Hanna is rolling over in his grave! Start buying the DVD's...even then there are edits...ugh..I'm depressed.
